In 2019, macOS Catalina (10.15) removed older 32-bit apps, replaced iTunes with Music, Podcasts, and TV apps, and added Sidecar, allowing you to use an iPad as a second screen.
macOS Big Sur (11), released in 2020, introduced a fresh new design, support for new Apple chips, and enhanced privacy features.
macOS Monterey (12), launched in 2021, added features like Universal Control (to control multiple Apple devices with one mouse and keyboard), FaceTime updates, and Focus Mode for reduced distractions.
In 2022, macOS Ventura (13) brought Stage Manager for better multitasking, improvements to Spotlight, and enhanced privacy tools.
In 2023, macOS Sonoma (14), brought new widgets, gaming updates, and improved video conferencing tools. It also introduced interactive widgets on the desktop and more customization options.

Finally, Apple’s macOS 15 (Sequoia), just released, continues to refine the macOS with AI integration, iPhone Mirroring, app enhancements, and continued optimization for Apple’s latest hardware.
